Drago

He’s the bestest boy, every person is instantly his new best friend. He is our first dog, we got him the day we moved into our new house. We started a whole new life, my dad had rescued him from some place in idaho. He had bad scars on his neck and one cut on his right forearm that never grew hair back. He just turned 9 in october. The night before he passed he went to lay down and sort of gave up half way and just fell. He didn’t eat his dinner either which was weird. I woke up suddenly before my alarms and ran to him, i had no idea why but i knew something was wrong. I turned the light on and woke up my boyfriend. I tried to get drago to go pottie but when he stood up he collapsed. I checked his gums and they were as white as they could be. I called the emergency vet and they told me to come straight in. 20 mins later my boyfriend, Drago, and I all made it to the vet. We carried him in and set him down but he wouldn’t move when he got inside. He just stopped. I remeber getting angry that he wasn’t moving because i just knew he was done. Hemangiosarcoma is what they call this cancer. My parents and my sisters came to say goodbye. I held his big ole head, just like we would snuggle in bed. We miss our sweet baby. I never could have imagined my life without him here.
